Rookie Goes for 4 in a Row at Ironman UK Week 8 of 28
Not been able to get out onto the bike circuit this week because the weather is an absolute disgrace…
Is it just me or has winter lasted ages this year??
Darkness by 2pm, sub zero temperatures, gale force winds, raindrops the size of golfballs….
Every bastard day for months….
It’s meant to be spring ffs….
At one time I would have ‘gone anyway’….
I’ve had to make do with the watt bike instead…..
Just on the watt bike…..
I’m lovin it at the minute….
Me legs are starting to feel like a couple of loaded machine guns….
Absolutely itching to get out onto the loop and ‘kick ass’
What will happen?
Find out next week (i’ll prob shoot me load in the first 20 mins then limp round the rest of the circuit, but time will tell)
Training this week…
Thurs….45 min watt bike intervals
Fri…..Weights sesh in gym
Sat……45 min watt bike intervals
Sun…..10k jog on the mill which I am also lovin – miles better than ‘real life’
Next Update Sun 1st March – Rookie goes back onto the loop
