Rookie goes for 6 in a row @ IMUK Week 12/25
Never underestimate the impact the weather can have on your loop time……
Case in point, today I went and smashed out a 2:20 loop on the most beautiful cycling day of the year……
It would have been 2:15 if it wasn’t for some numpty Sunday driving on the sheephouse descent…..
That’s a massive 30 minutes faster than my efforts so far this year…..
Make no mistake, it was all down to the weather and nothing else…..
Still not good enough…..
A sub 2 loop the target…..
We’ve still got 100 days in which to do it……
Work to do, but the tanker is slowly turning all the same……
No update next week, i’m off to Lanzarotte……
Staying off the sauce in Lanza……
That’ll be biggest test of the lot…..
Training this week……
Mon : Pool Mile
Tues : Weights & Sauna
Weds : 6k jog
Thurs : Pool mile
Fri : Weights & Sauna
Sat : 6k jog
Sun : 2:20 IMUK Loop as above
