So the safety boats are all booked and paid for……

Thunderstruck is ready on the 45….(We are actually going to play this before we ‘get in’)

I’ve printed off the words to the national anthem……

Got to be honest……

I’m fookin excited……

It feels just like the real thing….

Also, after last weeks little tantrum, i’m bizarrely feeling really strong all of a sudden…..

Did a 32k recce of the planned run course up Chorley New Road on Sunday and absolutely loved it……

Running up and down Chorley new road in Bolton is like walking down Wembley way as a football fan…..

The hopes, dreams and memories etched into the surroundings from sacred iron spirits that have trodden that very same path countless times before you…..

There is something magical about it (well, when you run on fresh legs there is – on race day it’s hell – but more on that next week)…..

Am I ready?

Yeah, I think I am…..

Don’t get me wrong, i’m still a least 2 and a half stone over ‘peak’ but there is nothing we can do about that now…..

The main thing is i’m feeling fairly strong and i’m really interested to see how this is going to pan out given i’ve got the support of some really good lads this year…..

What will happen on ‘race day’…….

Will I PB and win my charity bet??

Or will I shoot me load far too soon and ‘blow up’??…….
